It started with drawings, colours and imagination. The chameleons (Camigos) I drew for my daughters gradually found their place in different learning activities.
Little by little, the idea took shape. When the right moment came, SpanskNett was born.
Through SpanskNett, I create visual, practical, thoughtfully designed learning resources, with Spanish language and culture as the starting point. I want to make it easier to learn, explore and practise at your own pace.
I put care into the design, content and ways the materials can support learning. Some of the materials have already been piloted and refined through practical use. The project has grown from scratch, with modest resources of my own and a great deal of personal commitment.
Videos, audio and activities offer different ways to use the materials, both on and off screen. Stories, animations and Camigos belong to this world too, leaving room for new ideas and resources as it grows.
My years living and working in Norway have given the project a close connection between languages and cultures. My experience in teaching, research and international collaboration informs the resources I create. The purpose is simple: to make Spanish language and culture approachable and welcoming.
Thank you for your time, and welcome to SpanskNett.
