2. Information processed
If you accept audience measurement, the learning area records limited first-party data: page and category visited, language, date and time, referral and campaign information when present, approximate country and city location, QR origin, clicks on learning controls, and active time on the page. A random temporary session code groups activity during one browser session. Raw IP addresses, names and email addresses are not stored in the SpanskNett analytics database.
If you subscribe to the SpanskNett newsletter, your email address, subscription status, consent record and engagement with the emails are managed through Beehiiv. If you use the contact form, SpanskNett processes your name, email address, selected subject, message and the technical information needed to prevent abuse and deliver the enquiry. When you buy a product through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon Squeezy processes checkout and payment information as Merchant of Record; SpanskNett may receive the order information needed to deliver and support the product.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Measure aggregated use of the learning service when you choose to allow it: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Operate and secure the website: legitimate interests and the technical measures necessary to provide the requested service.
- Send the SpanskNett newsletter and measure its delivery and engagement: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Answer enquiries and provide requested support: pre-contractual measures, contract performance or legitimate interests, depending on the request.
- Deliver purchased materials and comply with accounting, consumer and legal duties: contract performance and legal obligations.
4. Service providers and transfers
Technical data may be processed by providers supporting hosting, security and delivery, including the OpenAI Sites infrastructure and Cloudflare. Web3Forms provides secure contact-form delivery and hCaptcha supplies its anti-abuse verification. Beehiiv provides the subscription form, subscriber-list management and newsletter delivery. Purchases are handled through Lemon Squeezy under its own checkout notices and policies. These providers may process information in the United States or elsewhere outside the European Economic Area; the applicable safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant, are used.
5. Retention
First-party audience records are retained for no longer than 25 months. A browser session code lasts only for the relevant session. Newsletter data is kept while your subscription remains active and afterwards only for the period needed to demonstrate consent, honour an unsubscribe request or meet legal obligations. Enquiries are retained for the time needed to answer them and, where necessary, for applicable legal-claims periods. Transaction records are retained for the periods required by tax, accounting and consumer law.
6. Your rights
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link included in every email. You may also request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, where applicable, by writing to hola@spansknett.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
7. Children
The independent-learning materials are designed primarily for learners aged 14 and over. Younger learners should use the service with a parent, guardian or educator. The website does not knowingly request children to create an account or submit personal information. The newsletter subscription is intended for people aged 18 or over.
